AT&T-branded Samsung Omnia in the works? {Engadget Mobile}

Jul 1st 2008 10:28AM I've been looking at the Samsung Omnia for about 2 months and was able to confirm with an AT&T rep at last week that they were in fact getting this phone. It will be released in September, only because the iPhone is dropping in 2 weeks. It will come in two flavors: 8gb and 16gb. It has GPS, 5mp camera, Samsung's TouchWiz interface. Retail, it's about $800 but with a 2 year contract, it'd be around $500-$600 but the person I spoke said it may be even less because Americans are not used to paying so much for a phone. I hope this helps anyone interested in this phone.

Apple launches "enhanced" 5.5G iPod {Engadget}

Sep 12th 2006 1:30PM I have the 5G 60b and now the new version is $250!? The 80gb for 350. Plus, these claim to have a 60% brighter screen with adjustability and a 75% better battery life. The battery life is all I care about.
