These watches are awesome. I'd love one but I haven't the coin.
I would love a free 33 GB iPod Touch. And I have no idea how to fix the economy, sorry.
I just read the comments in the linked article and all the negitive comments seem to be valid concerns. Can they honestly expect people to pay for an app when there's a free alternative with identical functuality? Look at Virtualbox versus VMWare-both applications have the same features, though Virtualbox is free and VMWare is (I think) around $50. Do you see VMWare telling blogs to stop reccommending the free product? No, instead they choose to spend their time innovating and making a product worth paying for. Njection's time would be much better served by trying to do the same instead of what they're doing now, which is being a bunch of petty whiners.
Well spotted. That's gotta be a fake or a user-made skin.
Maze Finger rocks as well, and I'm fairly certain that Rolando will make for a perfect 3/3. They sure know how to pick their games.
Aren't those Engadget's colors?
Dock magnification can be turned off. Apple only included it to help people with poor eyesight. I don't believe it's enabled by default.
Have you restarted the iPhone? Often when you install apps they're unstable unless you restart the phone before using it. I restarted my iPhone and it hasn't crashed in five minutes of use, although it is being kinda slow — I blame the 1.0 status of the app. I also wish that it was easier/quicker to change the time of day you're looking at. Finally, I wish it was easier to choose the order in which which channels were displayed — my college has a different channel order than the default Comcast one.
VNC by it's definition is a background app so there's absolutely no chance it'll get in the App Store unless Apple changes guidelines.
Usually the Windows version is released first, actually. I'm not sure why it was the other way around this time. Expect it in the next couple days.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
