Jan 8th 2009 10:39PM I agree with michael and ichheissesuperfantastisch, why need a big hdd when SD cards and usb drives are getting hella cheaper. The battery life would be nice, or if need be cheap spares. I would get one of these just for travel and what not, and if possible hackintosh.

Jul 27th 2008 4:02PM Talk about a cheap modders dream. Yeah the cpu is only 400mhz, but linux would be fine on this. I just wonder how expensive "built in wifi" is? i hope you can add more ram, would kinda be worth it.

Jul 14th 2008 3:55PM OMG, only a 2.5" screen?! Oh hell no. I have an ipod touch, and yes i have to convert videos, but the screen size alone is worth it. I do like the idea of buttons, but touch screen would help. Price is not bad at all for mem size.
Ask Engadget: What's the best HDD-based portable media player out there? {Engadget}
Jul 4th 2008 12:29AM Personally, i have hated ipods till the touch. The only qualm i have with it is storage space. Yes it has no codec support, but videora works quite well. Wifi is godly on it, video out requires a dock (wtf apple!) and screen size is okay. Battery life is rather good, as i use it for vids and web all the time and only charge it like once a day. I do like the Cowon Q5W tho, if only price was lower...
