ThinkSecret "confirms" 3.5-inch touchscreen iPod with hard drive {Engadget}

Sep 4th 2007 4:04PM I'd consider it, but then that's because I'm still using a 1st generation iPod. The battery life is still alright, but not what it could be, otherwise, it's still an MP3 player, and that's what I care about. That's why I haven't upgraded with every revision, like some people I know.

Nokia's iPhone -- no, seriously {Engadget}

Aug 29th 2007 1:10PM It is illegal in Finland to sell phones locked to a provider, and all phones must be unlocked. So, if it is coming from Nokia, there will be no service provider lock-in. That evil job is left to T-Mobile and other companies that sell Nokia phones in the U.S. ;)

CSR intros multi-microphone Bluetooth headset technology {Engadget}

Jun 11th 2007 2:33PM That could be cool if they were small and inobtrusive. However, the bluedouche headsets available now are pretty damn big. I wouldn't want something that huge permanently attached.

Tactile 3D maps could help blind people navigate {Engadget}

Apr 8th 2007 2:43PM Or they could just put maps in like this one: http://flickr.com/search/?w=36521986590%40N01&q=kamppi+accessibility&m=text

It's a shopping center in Helsinki that has maps with textures on each different thing. Then, there are a lot of bumps and raised structures that look like dotted lines for people to follow. Doesn't require high tech haptic gloves, which I suppose isn't so fun, eh?

BMW shows off WiFi / cellular-based in-car multimedia system {Engadget}

Mar 15th 2007 5:56PM I'm pretty much one of those non-drivers who sees any extra things in a vehicle as a distraction to driving, having been nearly run over by a decent number of cell phone users. Anyway, no I'm not ignorant, can't you read? "The TVs for the back seat are already a bad idea..." Maybe there's something about it that I just don't get, but I can't at least see why it's a good idea.

BMW shows off WiFi / cellular-based in-car multimedia system {Engadget}

Mar 15th 2007 1:52PM Baaaad idea. The TVs for the back seat are already a bad idea-- they don't need to step it forward to where the driver can see it too. How many wrecks does BMW want to cause?

The WOW Starts Now. Just not on your iBook {Engadget}

Mar 6th 2007 1:48AM Seems to me like someone just got way lazy with stock Photography.
