In other related news, in keeping with their other overpriced peripherals Microsoft will now charge $100 for a 512mb memory card.
1 in over 10,0000. Oh well.
Sweet. I love Plantronics, especially their higher end stuff. I use one of their wireless high end headsets at work and love it.

Now if I could just get the engadget comments page to always remember my password.
So Sony who is always so self righteous about copyrights ships pirated software. I think it is fairly safe to say that about the only thing Sony cares about is the almighty dollar, and that they could care less about artists and only care about getting their money. Include me in as someone who avoids Sony products.
Where's a Europeon competition regulator when you need one.

And agreed, itunes on Windows is horrible. Either they don't know how to program or they puposely make things crappy to make Windows look bad. Either one is a strong possibility.
I did the upgrade thing with XP and Vista and Dell a few years ago. They literally tooks months to ship after Vista was released. I'm still pissed about it. If you try this through Dell, don't say you weren't warned.
Been ready for a couple of year; and I am ready for the analog to be turned off and the power to the digital transmitters to be cranked up.

The media should be ashamed of themselves for portraying this as a big story. If anyone isn't ready it's their own fault. To say this country has gotten soft is an understatement.

This isn't clear to me and somebody else asked the same question a page or so ago. Does the $50 get you an upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium from XP Professional or just Vista Home Premium? There are a lot more XP machines out there than Vista machines, and I suspect at this price XP is excluded. On the other hand, in the past MS has normally cast a pretty big net with the allowable upgrades. So does anybody know for sure?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
