For all you "camera people" linking to other lens and saying it is bigger, better or just longer, please understand this; this sigma lens is impressive because it has a fixed aperture of f/2.8 at anything focal range. This guarantees you can shoot alot faster and can actually shoot without light/flash in near darkness. I can imagine how the bokeh on this will be, nice. Focal range alone is no big deal. The f-stop at 2.8 is the key.
You mean there are still suckers, sorry, people that pay monthly to use a glorified DVR? Wow. Guess, there is a sucker born everyday.
ROFLMAO. Why are zune owners so sensitive (buyer's remorse, anyone)? Geez, your beloved zune isnt perfect, it is not the end all product, get over it. i love reading how the few people that own Zunes get on here and get bent outta shape when you do not praise the zune. Hilarious. Aaah, I give in, can't resist the urge: I'm a tech junkie and I can honestly say I have never seen anyone with a Zune. I guess it is like the minidisc, owned by a few, ignored by the rest of the world.
Funny how the leftwing nuts and the rightwing nuts dont know they are both nuts! Syndication, friggles, killer, and co, you guys have too much time on your hands. Cannot stand all these political wackos. Most normal people know there is no absolute. Bush is not perfect. He has made alot of mistakes. To sit in your soapbox and say he hasnt is laughable and to call him a dictator is insulting. Bottomline, he is our president, has done alot of things wrong but has done alot of things right too. So why dont you wack jobs go watch FoxNews or CNN. We just wanna talk tech.
"Zuneinsider.com, the actual team that works on the Zune reads all of the comments left, and will respond to them."

That is easy to do when you have less than 10 percent market share. Just kidding. Seriously though, I do not own an ipod, my default dap is my treo 700wx (microsoft) but I will say this, microsoft missed the mark here... big time. You do not go after a behemoth like the ipod with a product that YOU have to sell its strengths. Its virtues should be apparent from the eyeball test. The zune would have been a great addition to an evenly split or fragmented market. But the way the market was and is Microsoft needed a difference maker. Imagine, the iphone, smaller with a microsoft logo, touchscreen and kick ass interface. Game over! Sadly, we have a fatter ipod wannabe that needs foot soidiers to go to blog sites and scream how nice it is. Face it, the zune is a bad product. Telling us its functions and superhuman strength is old, we have been hearing that from creative and iriver owners for years now, it didnt improve their sales numbers. Microsoft come with it or dont come at all. Heck, I am more likely to buy this Asian knockoff

It has all most of the functions of the zune but not as bulky or ugly.
Ok, lowest rank me you over-sensitive zune owners.... hahaha
A good number being all 12 of your inventory...?
sorry, couldnt resist....
Ignore me man, love your zune! it is yours, and you must have seen something in it. Afterall, I am yet to see a mom that thinks her son/daughter is ugly or bad! Love covers all imperfections baby! The pink zune will sell over a millions units... yeah!!!!
And the nicke'n'diming experience continues.... I am amused that Microsoft, in a rush to beat Sony to the game, releases a half-ready product, people pick it up. Revises the half-ready product to be 80% ready (elite, no hddvd drive), expects same people to pick it up a second time. And for those that wont pick up the elite, there are lots of money grabbing ways to bring it close to a full product (wifi adapter, hddvd drive, and now hdmi converter). I gotta give it Microsoft, they got balls... big balls. To microsoft, customer loyalty is something you earn. You have a lot of goodwill from your past gaming products. However, if you keep playing your customers for fools you will lose that goodwill. Once lost it is very hard to get back. Ask sony.
Only one problem with your points mike, some people, like myself, like things being minimalistic. In other words, I do not want a box with wires linking to another box (that's a different color!) that has a usb thingy sticking out of it. The ps3 has everything built in. I love that. Microsoft had a chance to converge everything, they failed. I can only guess that it is to keep the window open to still nickle 'n' dime us to death.
Yaawnnnnnn

I'm I lowest rank yet you insecure paying zune testers?

zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Wii owners are so sensitive to anything remotely negative about their wii. I have the wii, it is fun to play with family and friends but, I do understand what he is saying, it is just not a primary console material. The wii to me is a supplement to a real console (360 and ps3). It excited me for a week, I havent played it solo since then. I only play it with my family or older friends. On my own personal time? It is PS3 baby, without question. But that's just me, and I am sure I am not the only one that thinks like this, but wii fanboys want us to crown it the best thing since sliced bread. Sorry, it gets old real quick to some of us.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
