Bloody cleaners pulled the power cord to the server to plug the vacuum in..........
I'm hoping the intense 'iPhone Baiting' is evidence that this handset will be a Verizon 'World' phone with Dual or Triple WCDMA frequencies within it?
Otherwise this will remain firmly in 'Kiddie toy' realms, the smackdown from Apple IF this thing can only be used in the USA is going to be immense!
I fly all over the world for business, and I guess Verizon has the largest percentage of business users of the big four, if this thing doesn't work when 'we' get off the plane in London, Brazil or the Far East it just won't cut it........
So cool! Want!!!!!!!!!!
Nice job engadget! I would love it!!!!
I soooooooooo want one of these!
The tape in the 1008ha isn't structural, there are screws holding everything down, the cables HAVE to be taped otherwise they would never fit the case together, Asus have done their best to minimize wasted space, so the cables don't have a lot of space to be run in, they would pop out without the space! How about you actually use one and assess the quality? I found it firm, the best keyboard I have used in any laptop (no bounce), the finish was perfect and a zero pixel fault policy..... that's how you judge quality, not if there is tape within the laptop........
Sweet, I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this, hopefully it can sneak in at $499 in the US, will definitely pre-order though when I see it on ZZF.com
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
