Well, I can say that we're having some issues already with the Vista machines. Honestly, the damned things could barely run XP before, but now they're a lost cause with Vista on them. I have fallen asleep waiting to log in to some of these computers before...
As far as I can see, the issue is not so much that Vista is going to be used, but that they are putting it on hardware that it really should not be installed on. And where we're at, I don't see us switching to new machines any time soon. When you're out in the boonies, the priority levels seem to drop...
Doing paperwork before on these machines has been bad enough...I can't imagine what it'll be like at work with Vista on them.
Hmm, interesting. I went to lunch today, and my phone, which got Cupcake Iast week (yes, I'm in the UK) said it had a new update to install. Could this have something to do with those so-called revisions that held up the U.S. release? I don't know what my "About" screen looked like this morning, but it does look exactly like the above now.
AT&T Quickfire (dumbphones, right?)
Hmm....T-mobile G1, now
Guitar Hero On Tour DS attachment
I'll go out on a limb and say the "display" doesn't necessarily mean "monitor"
so...
the Touch HD's screen
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Panasonic Lifewall yet (yes, that's my vote)
Uhh....the Fuzebox
(yes, I'm reaching here...someone could also say Zeebo)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
