I don't think this runs any particular server software. I think it just transmits what ever you plug into it. Software choice such as Itunes or Media Monkey is up to you. The pro's are that you can transmit audio regardless of whether you use Itunes, but the cons are that you won't be able to integrate the REMOTE iphone app if you don't use iTunes on your home PC.

Nice Specs....but is this that much different from any other Android 2.1 device?
I am very close to getting this today. I am a gadget hound, but cheap. I have to carry a BB for work but it is locked down so i can't access personal email on it. This is a good, cheap option as my work BB can be used as my cell phone.

At some point I will get a personal smartphone, but with all the great phones coming out i am sitting on the sidelines and waiting.

Does anyyone know if ordering through Amazon can still get the 9.99 price?
Ooma was a great VOIP provider and a great deal. But it seems free was not a good business model and now you have to get Premier for the incremental functionality. They no longer include free VM and that is a showstopper and is a source of discussion on many of the deal sites. This is now much more akin to Vonage, abeit at a cheaper price. (If you don't think VM is necessary than it is still a good deal).
Is there any diference in the Pandora app for Android, Pre, iPhone, etc?
This would make me the star if I brought this home!
This would be perfect for my new Home Theater
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
