As a response to lewispindy and Jose, $50 is a massive premium for a cable doing what you want. Check out this linky, near the bottom of the page.

"THEIR ALL HERE"

Should we trust someone who spells "they're" wrong?
I think i just found my substitute for not being able to have administrator rights on my own laptop here at school. I can buy it and say it's just for a dictionary while i do whatever the hell i want to it. Haha, screw you IT!
Why would you want a hard disk as slow as this in a computer that's mainly for video/photo editing?
How hard is it to replace a stock iPod hard disk with one of these? Does it just involve taking it apart, taking the other one out, and then putting this one in; or is there a different connection for iPod hard disks?
I think it's pretty cool, even though i'm gonna go buy an 80G iPod in a few hours. If you guys are too young and immature to remember, Apple's iPod started with only Mac support, it's really just MS's beta
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
