You're kidding right!? You do know if this kid wins, this will break the show's popularity. I can tell you right now that this kid should not make it to the end. It's not because of his race, it's because he doesn't have the musical backbone compared to the others. You skewing the votes, if that's possible, will ruin it for the deserving.

Sep 30th 2006 10:26AM Social acceptance is a bitch to garner, but it's worked wonders like Toyota currently. The battle for pickup buyers' mindshare will be a difficult proposition for them. Unlike mainstream autos, social acceptance for domestic trucks is solid.
The success of Toyota in other segments cannot be underestimated, they have done quite well. But, the day will come when the goodwill for Toyota products won't be a socially accepted norm for everyone.
