It's a Rule to Show Cause order he was talking about. More or less it compels the other party to show up and explain themselves for whatever they are doing.

I think it's an honest mistake for them to make. Don't be such elitists guys - when you think of phones you don't think of attaching them to the tv to watch HD programing. In fact, that sounds absolutely uninteresting to me. I would likely never do that, so its own actual screen resolution would be what I would care about - not what it would send to a device I will never attach.

"As long as Apple sees itself on top of the competition, then I don't see much innovation coming from them." I think he nailed it They don't advance the phones for any reason but to sell them and don't add features unless they have to. They don't need to add 4G right now, in their minds, because they still are selling well for mostly 3G networks. Also, the phone has no need to be thinner.

I'd love an update to the iPhone as the last one was a huge disappointment to me - but I am not expecting anything too spectacular unless another phone company has a comparable model that starts making up ground in sales fast and then poses a threat.
Colonel Sanders....really.....you just blew it.
I just can't get excited for the movie, much less for the game. I try to get interested when I see the commercials by saying, "hey, it may be cool in 3D", yet I am just not feelin it. It looks like a color explosion with real people and then suddenly not so real people and the whole thing has lost me.
Good to see a lame peripheral game that rested on an established name be shot down. Stop trying to push expensive peripherals down our throats and make a quality game instead.
OK, so last night I see all these commercials for black friday....kmart open at 4 am, radio shack and old navy open at 3 am. What the hell is up with people running out to shop at 3 am!? No f'ing way.
He isn't trying to make a point about our legal system - he's trying to get attention from us and the rest of the world. He's an epic troll. That's all.
Nebraska Senator Chambers did that back in 2007. At least his lawsuit was funny.

"LINCOLN, Neb. - The defendant in a state senator’s lawsuit is accused of causing untold death and horror and threatening to cause more still. He can be sued in Douglas County, the legislator claims, because He’s everywhere.

State Sen. Ernie Chambers sued God last week. Angered by another lawsuit he considers frivolous, Chambers says he’s trying to make the point that anybody can file a lawsuit against anybody.

Chambers says in his lawsuit that God has made terrorist threats against the senator and his constituents, inspired fear and caused “widespread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth’s inhabitants.”

This guy is an ass and he just abuses the legal system for personal fun. It's just embarrassing that our legal system is so broken that this man can continue to waste public funds and not be reigned in.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
