This has actually kept me from buying a Lenovo laptop - had to use it for a 2 month training once and just couldn't get used to it. I always thought it was just me being difficult :)
Thank Papa Smurf I decided to get my Eee before Win7 came out.
This will never be used for action games because it'll be too laggy and not precise enough. It will be great for party games and as a minority-report like interface though.
Most people can't type on them. 10" is the sweet spot for many as it allows for a keyboard that is actually usable.
Wow, I might actually start buying Sony products!
Same here, I don't buy products that use non-standard memory. But then Sony is famous for shooting itself in the foot again and again and again with their attempts to get a monopoly on one format or another.
This looks great! Even better would be a hole in the bench to put your face through, so your forehead can rest too.
@Proud to be: the USA is actually by far the *least* generous of all rich countries in foreign aid, giving only around 0.16% of GNP. Western European countries typically give 0.4%, northern European countries over 0.8%. The fact that you *think* the USA is so generous fits another stereotype about Americans perfectly though: totally clueless about what's really going on in the world and about the role the USA plays in it.
@HarveyHanson: "whereas wii is aimed at younger more easily pleased generation" - err, the average PS3 gamer is a lot younger than the average Wii gamer, I'm sure. Wii appeals more to adults with little time to game, PS3 more to teenage gamers. The Wii's "kiddy" graphics are only desturbing to teenagers who are still desperate to appear cool.
Economics 101 for gibson042: without regulation, any free market will eventually collapse into a monopoly situation.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
