That marrage proposal above has to take the cake!

In high school we had an ecology/outdoor club. One year, we decided that we would use some of the school property to design and grow our own prarie. In the fall, we took trips to different local prarie land and gathered seeds, data, and pictures. We used 2 Newton MessagePads and the brand new Newton eMate 300, along with a Kocak DC50 digital(!) camera, to gather field notes (what plants grew well togeather and which didn't, where certain seeds were gathered, and a whole mess of other scientific data), sketchs of what different plants looked like, and, yes, we liked to send jokes to each other over the IR, then delete the message before anybody else could read it. Later on we would sync all the data to a Powerbook Duo to gather our research data. We also had the use of a PowerMac with Photoshop so we could use the digital photos to show what the property might look like with the prarie we were planning. It really was a lot of fun and my first real introduction to the possibility of Mobile Computing.

Unfortunitly, there hasn't been another really good product to replace my MP2000. As much as I like my iPhone, I like being able to sketch and write hand-written notes on my Newton. I keep hoping that the promise of sub$500 tablets that were the UMPC/Origami might come to fruition...
Well, according to the article, none of them are really out of a job. Some people will be forming a new studio, and everybody else is being placed in positions at Microsoft.
Dang Straight!

I want to keep my mac.com address!!! me.com is just lame!
Sounds like he joined a Baptist church... =)

Seriously though, IF he feels his Who OBSESSION was keeping him from God (i.e. not the show itself, but, rather, being obesessed with the show [enough to build/buy a full-scale Tardis..]), then all the more power to him.

However, if he feels the show itself is Satanic, then I would argue with that. There's nothing wrong with being a Christian AND a Who fan (whom happens to have a Sonic Screwdriver pen as well, but not a full-size Tardis....).

Besides, I think the greatest lie Satan ever told was that God doesn't exsist....
Yeah, I never noticed a shortage of stock, at any store, around the Milwaukee area either, even back before the Christmas season.
I was seriously considering trading in my old PSP for a brand new slim, and, if anything, all the GameStops seemed to have an abundance of PSPs.

Weird.
Current Conversation with WinMo friends:

Hey check out ! What? It takes forever to load and doesn't even display properly? And you only have pre-set levels of zoom and it takes 3 clicks to do that?

Oh, that's right, you're using IE on Windows Mobile...
I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm sure that the only Apps Apple will ban are ones that are inappropriate (i.e. Porn, illegal, copyright violation, etc.). Aside from that, I don't think Apple will be too strict.
Don't forget the Pocket PCs and Windows Mobile devices (before they became X-Scale) had Flash!

It might be nice to be able to 'activate' Flash by touching the area where the plug-in would be needed.

I'm actually really excited about it. Many sites don't bother with an "HTML-only" version anymore...
Is is Olomouc in the Czech Republic?
There's always exceptions. A Christmas Story had the word 'Christmas' in the title and remains one of, if not THE classic Christmas movie. Also, I think, of done well, a story about the birth of Jesus could be very good (it just has to be well written, which The Nativity Story was not).

You missed one big one: Any movie involving Santa Claus!!! How many more stupid Santa Claus is my brother/father/son/long-lost-best-friend movies are we going to see? There has only been one movie involving Santa Claus that I've ever really enjoyed... and that's Ernest Saves Christmas (and then only because I was 13 when I last saw it...).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
