Yaysauce!
I think the X1 did relatively well, though, despite its interface and hardware failings. At least, I still see them everywhere, where I live.
Such tactics are to be expected from Microsoft, as it attempts to strongarm its way into yet another facet of the market. I'm not sure what kind of effect this would have on their staff and quality of service though, assuming that the story is true.
The whole point of this game is that through your actions the game will end in dozens of wildly different ways. IMHO, this improves the replay value greatly, as opposed to the artificial increase in difficulty, or extra power-ups that could otherwise be found in other games.
No, Pim, there is NO excuse!

(Personally I don't think the effect is tacky but to each their own.)
Yeah! Forgetting only the massively reduced failure rate, and the fact that this video store will be available IN EUROPE.

Suggest you go get yourself a new pair of glasses.
No no no no no! I want a game that looks like that! THAT! *Jumps up and down, frantically pointing at the first frame of the embedded video* I want something Freelancery, something sci-fi and space-based! :C

Why, developers? Why hath ye not heeded my calls?
I thought the same, but then again, seeing as he got the transplant, it might mean that Steve's doctors are confident that he'll live long enough for it to be worth the organ.
Booby McTittins.

You heard it here first.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
