I think this has been incorrectly reported. I reported a similar article to this to Joystiq to this two weeks ago but it wasn't posted.

The real issue is that Virtual Console games do not work via 480p and Component when running certain NES and SNES games. The screen just goes black on both my Panny Plasma and Panny Projector. Official Nintendo cable too. Lots of people on the forums are reporting it and it is related to the weird 640x200 res used for those older games on PAL systems.
You got the PS2 and PS3 figures the wrong way round. The PS3 sold more than the PS2.
Today it would have to be Orange. They are the only UK network with an EDGE network. All the rest have 3G.
The Xbox 360 will upscale DVD's to 1080p WITHOUT buying the HD-DVD addon. The only limitation is that it must be connected via the VGA cable, not Component.

Upscaling was actually added in early 2006, and the latest update has added 1080p support to the dash.
Its not true that Crazy frog has better placement than Guitar Hero. I have been into HMV, Virgin and Game and all stores I went into are showing Guitar Hero on the main PS2 demo pods at the front of the stores and all over the entrance to the game isles.

Also, the staff in all these shops seem to be playing the game, not the punters. I think its simply that £50 is a lot to pay for a game and the controller looks really cheap at first inspection.

Companies need to realize we won't continue to pay £50 for games. Microsoft, are you listening to me?

This is actually a Samsung ultraportable tablet PC running XP Tablet edition.

I was shown it by the Samsung product manager last week. It as not yet been announced.

It is running the PC version of Halo.
I agree with the comments about the shipped software, but there is a solution:

Its
a great piece of software and the latest version fully supports XInput and the 360 controller. The Developer offers excellent support via the forums too.

Anyone making comments about the exact look and feel of GW being possible on the SNES or Megadrive must be making the comments on the low res video.

Look at this is real life and there is NO WAY one of those consoles could throw all that around and warp the space background gravity like this game does without monster processing power.

Whining about the tech is missing the point anyway. I have 7 commercial games for my 360 and love most of them. The machine is simply amazing. However, NOTHING takes the skill and reactions that GW does. People that can score 4 million plus have simply incredible skills and I admire them for it as does the poster of this article.

All you whingers should give it a try and I would be you don't even score 200,000!

PS. I will be buying a PS3 and a Revolution too. I'm a gamer and just want to play the best games. What does it matter who makes a system?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
