I wasted my childhood on that machine. I could have been outside preparing for a career in baseball, but no -- I was playing video games. And, now I read Engadget as a result. How sad.
SDK? For a phone? Weird. Don't mention this in Cupertino.
The two calls at the end were bad. No doubt about it. It is the timing that has everyone in an uproar. If those calls had come at the beginning of the game, no one would be mentioning them. Has anyone talked about the plays where the clock had run out on OU and were not called? Or the push-off for a touchdown?

Bottom line is that the whole game was poorly officiated, and not always in Oregon's favor (but, I know from a fan perspective it feels better to say it was one-sided).

Ignoring the officiating, OU didn't stop Oregon from getting those touchdowns. And, they still had a chance for a field goal at the end, and were not able to do it.

I also do not hear anyone talking about all of the fan penalties due to the noise at Autzen Stadium. That was a major factor.

We could also talk about the first and goal from the 2 yard line where OU had to take a field goal. That was the difference of the game.

Oh, and that field goal that hit the pole to bounce in. That, too, was the difference.

One point games can highlight every little thing that did or did not go right. This game certainly does that. But, let's not foget that the refs were only one factor.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
