I've never considered Abit as a "stalwart" mobo manufacturer. Their boards couldn't carry Asus' lunch, and that's if they didn't fail in the first half year of use. I've got about 6 Asus boards, and they're pretty good. However, at this point, I'm putting all my board money into Gigabyte mobos. So far, I've built over 250 machines with the Gigabytes, without a single failure or configuration issue.
@Brad Hubbard

Shortly after I got my Dell Axim 5, MS released an update of the OS. Manufacturers are supposed to modify the OS updates to work with their product. They provided that update, but it failed (MS issue). When MS released the next version (fixing the issues), Dell decided not to bother with it -- making my 18 month old Axim stuck in the old OS forever. And leaving me stuck with a rapidly obsolete $400+ device. Meanwhile, the folks who bought HP PocketPCs received every update ever released.
I don't feel that's a "silly complaint" at all.
I'm concerned that in a short time, Dell will abandon these smart phones just like they did the PDAs (Pocket PCs). I think I'll stick with a brand that's in it for the long haul.
I believe you're right.
Simple solution ... aim the lens end at you, and the screen at a mirror (LOL).
Family Guy is practically required watching for our NOC and Help Desk teams. But then .... they're really not the target audience to "buy" Windows 7.
Mobilize me, HTC (please).
Sounds good to me. But, over in Western Europe, only the EU can make laws :-)
Exactly. I can forgive GM for not using a Camaro (OK, maybe not), but why not the Malibu (at least) instead of Grandma's Impala.
I don't know about the Focus you rented, but the Focus I spent a week in, last month, was far better than any of the Nissans and Toyotas I've been stuck with. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs that size car.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
