@chispito I stand corrected. I guess I should say "decent graphics." :p I think the X4500MHD will handle hardware acceleration of most common video formats, but won't do much for e.g. Aero.

And hopefully no one wants to use a little ultraportable for 3D games...
Definitely a step in the right direction. I'm still holding out for discrete graphics, higher-clocked CPU, and digital output. The Macbook Air has all of those (albeit at a much higher price).
I'll see your harsh mistress and raise you a marsh distress.
If you go more than 3-way, don't some of the plugs have to be off-center or oriented diagonally so they don't intersect/collide inside?
@Mike Sylvester: Silverlight is only required for the Mac/Windows Netflix player, not for set-top boxes.

A NEW BRAND GAME
DARIUSBURST
IS APPROACHINGING FAST

I hope they don't bother localizing this one any further. I'd love for it to become the next Zero Wing.
Oog... texture is less blah to look at, but more argh to clean.
Don't mind if I do!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
