Und was ist daran neu bzw. aussergewöhnlich?
Considering that all of the big three will not survive the next three months without governments money, we don't need to think about that kind of things...
In Switzerland, this card is already available since about one week, see: http://www.digitec.ch/ProdukteDetails2.aspx?Reiter=Bilder&Artikel=155811. "Abholbereit" means "ready for collection", so it's available.
It's easy to fix a bug that appears on every installation. But this one happens only on a few servers, with special conditions. 5 months is a long time, but maybe this sort of bug needs a lot of time fo find and fix.
This one is crap. The FusionMan flew today in Switzerland with one that work, see:

Sure, this Dell laptop fits in your pocket...

"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
