I think they should (if they havent already planned to) release a full screen video iPod that is just an iPod. One with the same interface as the iPhone one, but with a larger capacity. If they could release a video iPod with a 60-80 gigabyte hard drive for around $400, I would be one happy camper. I think they may have a "one more thing" event on the last day of the conference, or s short time after, and announce the video iPod, and the release dates and specs for Leopard and iWork/iLife 07'. I can only hope.
Well I guess when you think about it, the name will sort of make sence, even if it is pretty lam. Airport sends the music thru the air, hence the name, so a wired device that sends music and other media thru a wire would be called "Tubeport", cause "wireport" sounds even less apealing.

Big thumbs up on the touch screen iPod though, I sure hope its true.
Poor security guard. You'd think they would at lest give him a gameboy or something. I mean, what is he even guarding there? That chair he is sitting on?
Here it is in action... if you consider flipping it back and forth with no button pressing to be action.

Holy cow! That banner says 64bit! You know what that means, MacPros! And also look at that leopard disc, it proves that apple wont be changing the OS name scheme... And it says Unix, so it means apple is staying with that kernal. You have got to get some more pictures of those banners!

So I see you know of The Lonely Island. Yay!
They started running "spoof ads" like this for Colorado 9 News. I'm sure anyone who lives in Colorado who was watching SNL this Saturday had the unpleasant surprise of seeing this. It went something like this:

Guy 1: "Hi, Im 9 news' website"

Guy 2: "Hi, Im a denver news website"

Guy 1: "I'm based out of denver, so all of my news is local"

Guy 2: "Well Im based out of the north coast"

Guy 1: "I get a billion hits a year"

Guy 2: (all dumbfounded like) "Well if you consider that good..."

Guy 1: "We really suck for ripping off such a good line of commercials"

Guy 2: "Yes, lets go home and chug some gasoline"

Ok, I made up the last two lines, but besides that, it was all real. Did anyone else see it?
You know its just mac video capture and a DS stylus.

But if it was real, I think my head would explode from reading text that small.
Wow, props to John and Mike. You guys have seen alot in your day. I started out with the top of the line "power macintosh", that my parents won in a huge raffle in 94'. it had system 7 on it for its whole lifespan. I had used macs in school and stuff, but I never knew computers could be so darn fast until I got the original power mac. Since then I have been buying every new iMac, starting with G3, and I hope never to buy an intel mac, seeing as I am an apple purist.

Ah, sweet memories. :)
Not only did I make you a cake, I threw a party for you... with a bunch of hungry dogs!

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
