poematik, thanks for pointing that out. *no homo hug*
I saw a comment in there that said something like "they're both quad core, not much difference" last time I checked the i7 was the first processor with 8 total (physical and logical) cores. which means the AMD phenom II x4 wowthisisalongprocessorname black edition only has 4. and I iirc, amd piI x4's lost to intels core 2 quads. my core2 quad lost to an i7. do the math, trolling dude
if amd didn't own ati (not going into why I prefer nvidia), amd would be dead.
Since I BUILT my pc, I know that Apple computers, namely laptops are severely overpriced. There is no way in HELL you are comparing the design of Alienware computers and Apples. Its like comparing Apples to oranges (no pun intended). Mac's are simplistic, minimalistic, while Alienwares are futuristic, out there. Both are beautiful in their own ways, but you need to open up your mind and see that there are other computers worth being called beautiful.
As far as the whole operating system thing that you were saying, OS X is a decent operating system. XP was amazing performance wise, Vista is beautiful, but chunky. They all have their own unique perks. for instance, Macs are for visual purposes. I know I'll offend every mac fanboy when I say this, but thats all they're good for. A PC will outperform a Mac dollar for dollar any day.
Proof? Lets do high performance... Baseline Mac Pro: 2.66 GHz Xeon Processor 3 GB RAM 640 GB HDD 18x Superdrive nVidia GT 120 512MB Price: $2,499
Custom Built: 2.66 GHz Q6700 (Overclocked to 3.5) 4GB DDR3 RAM 1.5 TB HDD Blu Ray Player Dual Layer DVD Burner (20x I Think) (2) XFX GTX 260 896MB Price: $2,100
****************************************POINT TO MY RANT************************************* As a mac and PC user, I've concluded that: Macs are nice to look at, but PC's are more practical. If apple had better pricing they'd sell so much more. So do me a favor, start up your brain and (Command + Q) your attitude. ****************************************************************************************************
Wow... that was probably the fastest that I've ever seen a release, then tear down. Great job staying on top of it for us who stayed home sick today :D
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"

hype everyone up then don't release anything iPhone related. save it for it's own conference (2.0 anyone?)
