S60 is just the default user interface for Symbian^2, which is the underlying operating system. S60 as a platform may be showing its age, but Symbian has a long life ahead of it if the group would just get on the ball and publish something new and exciting.
The new lay out is simply gorgeous. Absolutely lovin' it. Good job, Engadget.
Many would argue that AT&T's most popular smartphone (the iPhone) isn't a smartphone at all. AT&T has the most popular feature phone. Yay!
I was pretty sure I consistently heard "low center of gravity." It's not top heavy; to tip it over, one would have to essentially jack it up and then tip.

So, y'know, no worries.
Because being in disagreement with you in the sociopolitical arena totally merits (attempted) murder? STFU, kthx.
I'd use Bing even if Microsoft weren't paying for my Internet. It's superior to Google in most ways. (Google's spartan presentation helps, but that's about it.)
JustGuessing is on the right track, but it's more than just "affiliated."

Autoblog is a member of Weblogs, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of AOL LLC, which itself is a managed by TimeWarner as an independent holding. (TimeWarner owns AOL with limited liability by not having it directly bankrolled into the corporate bottom line.)

TimeWarner owns TBS, and TBS owns veryfunnads.com

Both Autoblog and veryfunnyads are tertiary holdings of TimeWarner.
That's just it, though! Bugatti's design language is cohesive and hearkens back to a lot of earlier designs, as you can see by comparing both this and the Veyron to the Type 57. But the thing is...I hate the Veyron in looks. Everything about it is exaggerated, bulbous. I know the Audi R8 is newer, so the comparison doesn't really hold, but when I look at the Veyron, all I can see is the silhouette of an R8 and someone just went to the fenders and made everything bulge and it looks like a blimp...

This, though...this! This is beautiful. Everything works in the sedan. I would never buy a Veyron (not that I have the money), but I would totally buy this (even without the money). It's ostentatious, but that's mostly the mirror finish aluminum...in reality, it's flowing, consistent and just plain classy.
Because then all it takes is a software hack or glitch on either hand to start taking on other's transmissions; because then we'd have a bunch of data flying around in the same block, causing interference...

Bad idea.
Bring back the GameBoy slot or GTFO, Nintendo. Keep your camera; I'll keep my DS Lite.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
