Switched On: The iPod touch and the big picture {Engadget}
Sep 11th 2009 11:40AM The touch will get a camera when it is updated. I bet most resources have moved back over to OS X and getting a tablet plan together. Unifying such devices will likely happen next year. Steve is just giving excuses. If anything the iPod would make a fabulous replacement for multiple devices.
Remember the hideous camera that was, and perhaps is, included with the iPhone. Apple just doesn’t believe that people use devices like that, and the market is proving them wrong. The iPhone is the top device on Flickr... By next year they will all be 780/still capable. 1080 is stupid, since keeping 780 video clean is difficult enough.

Fujitsu's multitouch LIFEBOOK T4310 tablet makes quick work of Microsoft's Touch Pack {Engadget}
Sep 6th 2009 1:25PM I bet that patent does not make it far through court. It is more of a threat than an actual protectable piece of IP.
The Fujitsu slates are my preference, although I have not been a fan of Windows as of late, so the shiny overpriced, well-designed, well-integrated “crap” has been my outlet for all things tablet. I also wish that these companies would realize that a tablet, even a slate or mid, needs a decent processor. It also needs to be attached to a larger monitor, so needs decent graphics.
Video: Nokia's N900, N97 mini, X3, X6 and Booklet 3G hands-on roundup {Engadget}
Sep 3rd 2009 9:48AM R,
No need to inject the iPhone into the conversation. While a developer, I am incredibly interested in anybody who will compete on the top level, and Nokia has the tools to do it. The Booklet is a bit weird, and I would rather see them produce a larger tablet. As I am looking at education, something like that would be perfect. Sadly, I am stuck on the iPhone and hopefully the coming iTablet thingy.
Good job Nokia, and perhaps Flash will actually run on this, as opposed to the past tablets! I can see why Apple is loath to allow the beast.
Sony Ericsson "Rachael" Android XPERIA handset unveiled? {Engadget}
Jul 4th 2009 2:03PM If my experience with the SE P series is an example, this lovely device will likely cost about $800, lack most US network protocols, but be quite a nice example of where things should go.
I want as well. I develop/design for the iPhone, but Android would be pretty impressive on the SnapDragon!

Apple rejects Bittorrent control app from App Store because it might be used to infringe copyrights {Engadget}
May 11th 2009 2:36PM I am developing music products for the iPhone, and am beginning to be involved with the Android groups so that we can seriously consider moving the technology. We could actually do things on the platform that Apple will not allow, but will make a better experience for the user.
Apple will ultimately suffer from this behavior. As with Sony, people will recognize a power play for what it is, and begin to make Android increasingly viable,
