The iPhone is not a smartphone {Engadget}

Jan 10th 2007 9:08AM Jeff: "This thing, as it stands, is a friggin' paperweight. I'm sorry, but there it is..."

I'm guessing you were serious when you wrote this diatribe. If so, I'm sorry because you seem to have a VERY narrow interpretation of this product as well as phone services overall. From a complete misunderstanding of the iPhone's features to absolute opposites of actual operations, your analysis is thoroughly flawed. So much so I'm not going to spend the time rebutting item by item.

Thank goodness there will be millions of people who will see and own the beauty of this product compared to the delusional few as you. Enjoy your Samsung flip, chief!!

The iPhone is not a smartphone {Engadget}

Jan 10th 2007 8:46AM "And it costs about double of my car payment. Count me out."

Well, are you going to pay for the iPhone in 60 monthly payments @ 8% interest? What's that...about $11 a month?

If not, then a $600 iPhone is nothing compared to a single $20,000 car payment. Keep it relative, my friend.

LT's Record Marred by Shameless Score-Gouging {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Dec 11th 2006 3:52PM I agree w/ you that most of these posts are completely off because they think you are belittling LT's accomplishments. I doubt anyone, including you, is disputing the player's incredible credentials.

That stated, here's where you're wrong.

If you watched the game, then you saw that the final record-breaking TD was setup by a San Diego's defense stripping Jay Cutler of the ball at the Denver 7 yard line as he went to pass. As for the run-it-up-the-middle sportsmanlike play calling, indeed that was San Diego's called play. It was for a left guard run; Coach Schottenheimer stated as such in the press conference afterwards. However, Denver's D penetrated and forced LT to run outside at which point he outraced them to the corner pylon. TD!

I'm sorry but that's football. Denver was still determined to score (evidence the pass play calls), they turned the ball over (fumble at 7) and were willing to run-blitz on the TD run (middle line penetration on LT run). Do not fault San Diego or LT for their ability to execute on the most basic of football plays and/or Denver's inability to do likewise.

I won't even go into the importance of point differential as well as giving fans what they paid to see arguments. I simply feel like Denver was unable to stop LT at a very historic point in football...and we're all the better for having been a part of it!

Microsoft Wants to Delete YouTube {BloggingStocks}

Sep 19th 2006 2:53PM Pretty sure this will fail, but more troubling is that in the end, Microsoft will do what it always does when it can't successfully copy someone else's idea...they'll buy them. Then YouTube will be another "whore" for Microsoft's ultimate goal, the complete control of your electronic experiences.

(kinda of conspiracy theory crap, huh?!)
