I'm not sure about everyone else (actually I am, you all seem pretty ticked), but I'm happy about only paying $2 for a ringtone that I didn't make for free. I am on Sprint, so it costs like $6 for a ringtone, WHICH IS INSANE.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. You can still find a workaround.
I love Engadget!
I love playing Battlefront 2! Also, I can only give PC games as my favorite as the last console i had was an N64. I just recently got the wii, and that was because I was able to convince my mom to get it for me for Christmas.

*sniff* jk. But i really would like an x-box 360, I've never played one for more than five minutes.
Sure it may be unweildly, but its the principle of the thing. This is the first time we could get sizable electrical energy by directly utilizing the power of glucose, just like we do ourselves!

My only question, will this lead to hyper-gadgets?
This is just a simple application of the Seebeck effect. By using the different levels of heat on 2 different types of metals, (i think, correct me if i'm wrong, i'm not a pro) it causes the electrons to move, thus creating a tiny current. The greater the difference in heat, the more powerful the current. I had a kid in my class do that for a science project. The only problem is, that unless there's a huge difference in heat, say 100 degree C and 2 degree C, you won't get much power.

It's also been around for a pretty long time.
OMG! I saw this post and instantly thought that this article was going to talk about the spread of pr0n via cell phone.

Ha! Sorry...
Now this is "wii interoperability". Lol!
Hey has anyone experienced problems with the wireless connectivity of thier wii? Whenever I try to connect it to my wireless network, it will soon kick off the rest of the wireless computers in the house and then a few minutes later will reset the router.

Any help or advice would be appreciated!
Does anyone think this looks kinda like a tricorder???

I would love this remote for the Star Trek-ish look!
They should join the Engadget folding team.

Can you say thousands of points per second?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
