regulatory firewalls are needed...with strong, enforceable oversight by financial watchdogs.
My HP 720c won't work with any modern machine (no new desktops come with LPT ports). I even tried a USB to LPT and it still doesn't work. I am student and would really like to print my paper work.
I have been a poor student all year - carrying around a backpack with an eight pound laptop. Help!
@AmazingRobie

That movie zeitgeist is all conspiracy theory. It cites absolutely no evidence in its suggestions. I did further research on it and found only other conspiracy theories that they used to support it. Nothing objective.
While I do try and watch heroes because I am a fan of comics and how this is a push into that type of world on network tv. But it really was pretty disappointing, and actually I feel it is beginning to be just as bad as Lost in terms of hype. If you guys want to watch a good series, go and get Season 1 and 2 of Battlestar Galactica (I know many of you know already) to see a thought provoking series. This is the only show I can think of that encourages its viewers to reflect upon our country and current events.

As for the guy who says not to get worked up about "quality"...people die all the time, that is life. But that shouldn't dissuade you or others from doing a decent job in whatever your trade is.
i want this to surprise my parents as a gift. they just retired.
this is off topic, but to the guy who had hotmail for 15 years...how is that possible? were you one of the original developers for that system? as far as i know, hotmail came out in 1996. i think the only email people were using back in the 1991 was something either with their local isp, prodigy or compuserve.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
