Silverlight + Maps = killer app. Though sidestreets hardly makes a dent, with google in just about every major US city, including all of Oahu now ( you can see me waving!), its much more interesting experience. Now if only they can stick this win WM7 for free....
Dells older 9400/E1705 series were da bomb. Almost perfect with nice subwoofer and everything. The studios are ok since they stole Vaio designers. However the build quality is atrocious, the hinges have broken on every Studio I've seen that gets normal use. I really want to recommend Dells, but gawd damn they make it hard.

Why is everyone so caught up in "instant on" or "boot up times." Have you never heard of standby?
With the DMI patch at only 2GBps, it will max out with a only 3 USB 3.0 ports, add that to SATA which has even higher bandwidth, and you can see that they need to triple it from this generation just to keep up with the new interfaces. We probably won't see that until Sandy Bridge which has a brand new MCP called the "System Agent."
