May 14th 2008 10:03PM @sixt33n: your either a complete liar or an absolute moron for buying 3 XBOX's when they can get them repaired for free.
@engadgetier: Your either a complete liar or hang out with absolute morons, who buy 4 consoles when they can get them repaired for free.
Its just a shame that if the latter is the case, you have just wasted precious money that you could have spent on condoms or some sort of birth control to keep this planet from housing more morons.
BlackBerry touchscreen phone to be dubbed 'Thunder' {Engadget}
May 13th 2008 10:35PM Its more than just the touch screen.
Its the replaceable battery, the upgradable memory, GPS, bluetooth pairing to your laptop for data access, the undoubtibly faster rate of typing due to a static keyboard, and just the sheer familiarity and upgradability of the Blackberry, which has made it so popular with business.
Let the iPhone win over the consumers. Blackberries will keep the business.

MSI Wind gets official pricing and availability for the US: $399 {Engadget}
May 13th 2008 6:16PM It will run at 1.6GHz, so of course it will perform at 1.6 GHz. Now, I doubt its Core2 GHz, but it should be enough for this purpose oriented laptop (web, music, etc.). It just better not be P4 GHz, because those sucked.
Dell dropping XPS, focusing on Alienware -- Dell says no {Engadget}
May 12th 2008 11:00PM WTF?
Crysis sold over 1 million copies. Thats over 1 million people that at least spent 1500 dollars on their PC to play games on (considering what the game needs to be enjoyable). Thats over 1 million possible custom builders. Were not even counting the pirates.
I think PC gaming is doing just fine. 1 million at 50 bucks is still 50 million dollars. Sure, that isnt GTA numbers, but its still decent, considering the added money spent by people just to get that game running on their PC.
Why would companies like Nvidia even bother if they werent making amazing profits?
Console gamers can enjoy their 720P games, and ill enjoy vertical resolution equal to their horizontal.

May 12th 2008 8:22PM Seems intentional, just to get the Fruit Boys talking about the iPhone.
Apple settles on iPod batteries, power adapters {Engadget}
May 11th 2008 5:33PM Yes, Yes you can!
Quite frankly, there are too many pages with flash embedded, and with the iPhone not handling flash, your entitled, since your not seeing the "full internet experience."
You only need to satisfy a few conditions:
1. Get enough people to join you on this crusade.
2. Be prepared to fork over quite a large sum of money should you lose.
3. Get a layer with balls.
But do the ends justify the means?
Zune breaks 2 million sold, stealing market from Creative not Apple {Engadget}
May 10th 2008 10:50PM I keep hearing comments about the iPod selling 10 million within a single quarter, but do people even think when they make that comment to trump the 2 million Zunes sold.
Is that 10+ million in every market the iPod sells in, which is every market? The Zune only has one to sell in.
And does that data include every iPod that exists, including older generation models, dirt cheap Shuffles, and refurbished units, which seem to exist in massive amounts everywhere for extremely low prices?
I would imagine the Zune is no different, since a large number of sales were due to the 30G being sold for 100+ bucks.
I would love to have someone clear up this information for those iPod sales. Because if thats the case, then thats not all that impressive for the iPod.

May 10th 2008 10:34PM @Snitch.
Are your songs lossless?
Are your songs 20 minutes long?
My wifi router transmits to my zune at 400KBps.
Takes about 10 - 20 seconds per song at 320Kbps.
If the top two conditions arnt applicable to you, then either your router sucks balls, or your a liar.
Cowon's D2 PMP now available in 16GB form {Engadget}
May 10th 2008 11:39AM @hotdogson:
Ive listened to the Zune 80, Classic, Touch, and this player (4gb) version with my Shure e2C, and hes completely correct. All those players (the Zune reproducing the audio much better than the Apple variants, but having no audio enhancements kills it) dont compare to the audio quality and sheer power you get from these Cowon players. I dont even own a Cowon, mainly due to the space offered on that 4GB version (which is why i went with a Zune), but im not deaf to facts. The Cowon is the best sounding player ive put through my headphones. And why that feature is no longer relevant to people looking for audio players, i dont know. Maybe its all those 64Kbps files people are downloading from Kazaa.
Ill be picking up a cheap 4gb cowon as soon as it drops to the 100 dollar range, and upgrade it when the time is right with an SDHC. I could use a "utility" player.
