I wonder if you could activate this without needing a giant data plan. I currently have the Motorola Q on Verizon, which is a smartphone that does not need a data plan. I cannot upgrade to any other smartphone with windows mobile, android, or blackberry operating system without them forcing me to carry a $30 data plan. I don't need that, I use wifi or text. If I could use this phone without Verizon forcing a plan on me, I would be thrilled.
The Kindle reads books outloud, the Nook doesn't. I like the Nook navigation and native pdf rendering, but for me text-to-speech is huge. So until the Nook gets that, I won't be purchasing an eReader.
Verizon has higher prices, but Sprint is often roaming on its network. So even if you get signal, it's the lowest priority. That gives Verizon better reliability, but higher prices. I wish Verizon was cheaper though, it's plans are too much money, but it's the only way I can get a decent signal where I live.
I would love this phone!
Hell yes! Verizon doesn't have many phones, but this one is kickass
He isn't doing anything, Gates is the one who makes the budget. But even so, he INCREASED spending on the military. Changed it yes, but increased it overall. Some programs get less, some get more. But as a whole, the military gets more.

So much for being against the military.
It would be nice. PC gaming is here to stay
The Count was the best. And that mp3 player is tight!
same here
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
