"The only reason Windows has viruses is because so many people use it. If I was making a virus I would rather screw with the millions of PC users instead of the 5 Mac users sipping latte in the corner of Starbucks...

Actually I hate Mac users and their smug attitudes so if I was making a virus I would go for them...the thought that OSx is magically invulnerable is ridiculous"

Sooooo, in the US, Apple has over 6% market share, which, believe it or not, is actually millions of Mac users...but unbelievably, 0 viruses. You would think they would have at least some share of viruses...but no.

And I think you just provided more evidence for why the 'no viruses because no one uses Macs' myth isn't correct. To be the first to make a successful Mac virus is quite the incentive, especially when it can affect millions of Mac users.
How can you guys (or anyone for that matter) preorder a Zune/any other mp3 player without actually holding it, testing it out, checking out its sound quality, etc.???

Maybe it's just me, but I would think it would be important to interact with a Zune before plopping down $250 for it, especially since this is first generation...unless you're just so much in love with Microsoft that you trust it will meet all of your wildest expectations.
For everyone saying "Only $10???...":

Apple has sold more than 38 million iPods in the past year...so assuming iPod sales remain consistent, and even if these certain (Product)Red ones were to make up just 5% of that, that turns out to be about 1.9 million Red iPods

1.9 million Red iPods at $10 donation each = $19,000,000

19 million is quite a hefty sum.
Well at least they have good taste in music featuring 'Bar 17' by Trey Anastasio! It'll be interesting to see how this relationship works out.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
