But you have to realize the trade off here, the animals loose their homes and possibly die so us humans can watch more tv, or spend more time on the computer...
Its going in Creston, theres nothing out there, and it gets damn hot too. To the people saying they need to invest in nuclear power, there is already a plant fairly close to where this will be going in
probably because deserts are full of sand and tend to be windy & sand + wind = lots of broken solar panels... By the way this place is right in my area, probably a 10-15 minute drive north & PG&E, the guys running Diablo Canyon nuclear plant which is probably 10 minutes southwest, is going to be buying up a bunch of their energy from these guys, it should be AWESOME!
And the best part of centralized power supply rather than individual IC engines, is when the technology for producing energy changes, as it will many many times, all that would be required is getting a city or county to replace a power plant rather than a couple of thousand individuals to shell out money to replace their cars
Batteries go to shit after time, when this things battery starts to fade you basically have to get a new one or get apple to replace it... or pop it open yourself and start messing around with things
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
