yes it recalculates instantly on my 3GS
yep, theres even a "boost" option to boost the volume. it seemed plenty loud if your windows are up
this looks like the poor-man's macbook - even though its a lot shittier. Why are they comparing it to the macbook air? It's almost an inch thick, and the macbook pro 13" is .95" i believe
it can if the app supports it. Gokiva claims when a turn voice plays, it silences your music like when you get a new mail notification- then resumes after the voice is done
and where the f*ck are all the USA turn by turn GPS apps
actually the "first" "turn-by-turn" app in the appstore was g-map 1.2 - which works pre 3.0. Sygic or Gokivo are the first turn-by-turn with VOICE
um $95 flat rate is a good deal.

Their standalone units cost $150+ and the software (mobilenavigator) is pretty good. Companies like gokivo and telenav charges $10/month ($120 a YEAR).

If it has integrated features like traffic checking and up to date POI, its worth it
we need a "TUAW FAIL" iphone icon
treyarch needs to stop making CoD games, they suck ass at it. People need to also stop making shitty world war 2 games.
also:

"Sure enough, within a day or so, in response to the problem, a T-mobile Tier 2 service rep posted an acknowledgment of the problem in a hackintosh forum, and indicated they'd fixed the issue."

You don't see ATT or verizon CSRs posting on hackintosh forums. Tmobile is the carrier that understands, its just too bad we cant use their 3g on the iphone 3g.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
