Virgin Mobile: okay, yeah, we're talking to SK Telecom {Engadget Mobile}

May 14th 2008 11:13PM Why would ANYONE want the antique, over-taxed, and downright crappy iDEN network? It'd be a huge step backwards...

Virgin Mobile: okay, yeah, we're talking to SK Telecom {Engadget Mobile}

May 14th 2008 11:12PM I'm at a loss to figure how those lame "Don't call it a phone" commercials somehow equaled "no nonsense marketing".

Pretty much nonsense from the start.

Sprint says QChat to be in 40 markets shortly {Engadget Mobile}

May 14th 2008 7:10PM Sprint, Sprint, Sprint...yes, keep iDEN running forever. The Nextel merger/purchase was as cockamamie as it could get...and did nothing but take resources away from the CDMA side and alienate and make customers on both sides leave in droves.

Great leadership, Hesse, great leadership...you're just as clueless as the rest of the 'tards who've come before and will undoubtedly follow, as I suspect your failure to produce anything other than continued churn and customer defections will lead to a quick dismissal.

Sprint to sell off assets due to subscriber defections? {Engadget Mobile}

May 13th 2008 4:51PM Nothing "AGGRESSIVE" about Sprint's upcoming handsets, other than in being so far behind the curve of every other provider out there save the tiny, rural outlets.

And nothing "AGGRESSIVE" about Sprint, except their churn rate and their horrible customer service.

Here's a note to all the Sprint employees posting "positive" messages... rather than spending your time telling us how great things are at Sprint, what with your "excellent leadership" (snicker), your "massive handset" selection (snicker), and your industry-leading (meaning right at the bottom of the barrel) "customer service" (ROTFL), why aren't you doing things AT WORK ON THE JOB to make them better?

May 13th 2008 3:14PM At least until you get your pink slip, eh?

Cable companies drop Pivot, break up with Sprint Nextel {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 24th 2008 12:59PM Even though T-Mobile hasn't publicly announced it's going to LTE, I can't see them NOT going with it, as it's going to dominate. Sprint will be all by it's lonesome, selling inferior WiMax, if Sprint still exists at all.

Cable companies drop Pivot, break up with Sprint Nextel {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 24th 2008 12:54PM I'd put money on Sprint taking a dirt nap before I'd put money on them making a go with this crap.

Motorola A810 gets Linuxy on the FCC {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 24th 2008 12:38PM Agreed - I don't see, especially magnified, why they're convinced it's 4.0 megapixels.

Apr 17th 2008 9:24AM Why do Canadians put up with those awful three-year contracts?

Verizon calls Sprint a deadbeat, takes it to court {Engadget Mobile}

Apr 16th 2008 8:36PM Wow...chalk it up to either Sprint having capital issues (not good) or just being a bad corporate citizen (not good, either).

However you spin it, it'd stink for Sprint customers if they suddenly found themselves unable to roam on big red.
