i'm sorry, but you're wrong. i've tried it and done it plenty of times and it sucks.

just because you can drive while talking on the phone or steer with your knees doesn't mean that it's a good solution. this is a poor design decision.
i don't get what the big deal is with pinch to zoom? it's a horrible UI implementation for a mobile device. cell phones should be designed with one handed use in mind. using a non-intuitive method that usually need two hands to operate is not good design.
even with the steep $350 discount on myTouch 3G, factoring in that $20 premium would pay for the phone during the 18th month, leaving six months and $120 of extra payments left that have no obvious justification to us.

apparently engadget is not familiar with the concept of the time value of money?

i have an idea! you give me $350, and i'll give you $20 a month for the next 18 months, you come out $10 ahead!!
wow... you can get KEM cards for this price...
is engadget an expert at designing experiments now?

n=305 is plenty to draw conclusions assuming the sample was properly selected.
i use numbers all the time on my htc dream. a number row is way better because numbers tend to come in bunches. punctuation typically only requires one alt press, then button press and done. typing numbers without a numbers row requires alt press, num, alt press, num, etc... or double alt press, num, num, undo-alt press which is really annoying compared to the typical use case for a punctuation symbol.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
