Just got my Xbox Elite back from RROD Repair like a week ago, the unit was only about 1 year old. So no the problem is not solved because most of the units out there could still fail. As far as I know only the new lower voltage Jasper units potentially have this issue fixed.
Hmm unless they changed the way WM wipes or did not put in a backup firmware on the protected partition that would be different than how normal WM devices wipe.

The iPhone on the other hand does that by default when you use the Enterprise Active sync feature, you need to restore the whole OS from iTunes when the kill command is sent.

The obvious thing to to is disable the 3G radio or take the SIM out (if it is GSM) of a device like this as soon as you nab it so it can't receive the kill command.
Style? I am not a fan of the MacBook airs features but I think it rates a 10 on style compared to the MSI.

- Cheap white plastic
- Giant Vents
- Big ugly VGA plug on the side.

Fact of the matter is that Apple released this SYLE months ago, as long as PC manufactures just COPY style instead of launching it they will be behind Apple on that front.
They can't remove the HD, there are games that depend on it.

Cheaper SKUs is why MS made it mandatory that all 360 games NOT require the hard drive.
@Pochi
MS already cut prices BEFORE Sony.
MS was and still is WAY less expensive.
I think this one from Japan looks WAY more advanced

Notable changes in 6.1
- New version of Pocket IE has SOME new zooming features but they arn't great
- Native support for threaded SMS messages
I talked to a rescue worker not long ago about the dangers of Hybrid and Electric cars. He said that yes they have been trained on them, and that there is little or no concern. When it comes to stuff leaking out or cutting into power he said the risk level was about the same. As for cutting wires, he said it is the same as NOT cutting fuel lines. If anything they would be happy with the reduced risk of the car catching fire in all electric ones.
As an owner of an UTStarcom 6700 aka HTC Apache I would say they are cheap. Although the Apache was the most feature packed device of its time and still fairs well the number of reported device defects in the support forums is staggering. I my self am on my second device, and I know some users that went all the way to four replacements.

Even if you have a working one you have to deal with Windows Mobile instability. I can't wait to see if the Google Android devices are any better.
Had the same problem with a Mustek photo frame I purchases as a gift for christmas. The on access antivirus software caught it.

Great delivery method for getting all those geeks that say "I don't need AV because I only download stuff I know is safe".

I say be ware of ANY device that mounts as a USB storage drive, there are more and more things on the market that do this now.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
