Do these respond to finger touch, or stylus only? The specifications for tablets are very vague on the subject. I'd consider buying one if it could do both forms of input.

I dunno. I have one here too and it works ok. I haven't had a problem with interference with mine. The most annoying thing is that it goes to sleep and you have to hit a key to wake it before the touchpad will work.

I read something about this Nuvinci CVT transmission that solves some of the traditional problems of continuously variable transmissions. I wonder if it would work in this application. It looks like it is able to deal with high-torque/low-rpm scenarios better than other transmission options.
