Oh, and Home. Don't forget Playstation Home.
Oh, and tilt-control Sixaxis.
Oh, and their upcoming 'dildo' motion controllers.

Playstation Eye and Bluray beg to differ.

"Well, they really can't pull out the BD drive...seeing as all the games are written on the Blu-Ray format..."

Well, that didn't stop Sony from doing exactly what you described with UMD.
I have a Pre and LOVE the OS! Just got the Mrs a Pixi and I'll be damned if the thing isn't FASTER than my Palm pre. I don't know why, but the experience is even better on the Pixi. Maybe the lighter screen resolution, but whatever it is, webOS is simply stunning on the Pixi.
They have fallen out of touch with consumers.
Still, the news would have been better if it WAS NOT misquoted.

It saddens me to see Sony continue to support Home when they could be making other improvements instead. Home is a waste of time and energy.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
