I occasionally will buy a popcorn and soda at the movies, but it's getting to the point where I need to take out financing to buy the snack. AMC Theaters are the worst. They just upsized their whole menu and upsized the prices. Gone are the old small popcorns and sodas. What used to be medium 3 weeks ago is now the small. A large can feed an African Village for a month. It also now costs the equivalent of a decent used car. Isn't $12 a ticket enough anymore?
Coulter isn't great, but listening to Nacy Grace is worse than getting a root canal. Not only is her voice grating, but the stuff that comes out of her moutn is even worse.
I'd be hard pressed to come up with a film in recent memory that disappointed me more than this one. I can understand why the reviews are all over the place- it's an artsy kid's movie for adults only. While the visuals were terrific (love the creatures), I found the movie depressing and extremely boring. The "message" went way above the heards of every kid in the theater and even though I understood it, it didn't seem like the main character got it either. The most entertaining part of the movie was watching the flood of families bail out in the middle. The manager of the AMC I saw it at said they were selling a lot of tickets, but issuing a record number of refunds as well.
I don't know why anyone's is surprised with AT&T's non-stance on tethering. I can't get my Iphone to make a simple phone call half the time because AT&T's network is overloaded. They blame it on the high data usage by Iphone users. That's just folks using the handheld data. Imagine what their network would be like if they implemented tethering? It wouldn't matter what your data plan cap would be- the network would never connect, so you wouldn't have to worry about it.

In most places the AT&T network is at it's limit. THey totally underestimated the Iphone load on their system. There's no way they'll kill it even more by implementing tethering any time soon.
Wait... they're NOT supposed to grab your rear and show you naked pictures of themselves? Boy, have I been mistaken while flying lately. I thought these were a couple of the only services left during the flight you didn't have to pay for.
Everything gets pulled down eventually. The propulsion system is design to give the system a boost upward when the orbit gets too low. Without the boost, it will eventually come down due to gravity and atmospheric drag. Most spy satellites are in a low orbit to begin with, so it was probably getting constant nudges just to stay up there.
I wish they'd kill the whole Shepard on a mission story line. I prefer the straight forward crime stories versus the international intrigue. I usually like Lauren Holly in most things, but I think she's terrible as director of NCIS. Maybe it's the short hair, but I can't stand any scene she's in on this show. The entire crusade against the arms smuggler plot just detracts from what makes the show good to begin with- mystery solving and the team dynamic.
"You'll shoot your eye out..."
"sweet, I didn't think any good stores came to CO"

I don't know how you can say this. The Park Meadows opening will be the FIFTH Apple store to open within 30 minutes of downtown Denver. It will be the third opening in the past year alone (in addition to Boulder and Broomfield). While I love Apple stores, we've almost reached the point of saturation here.
Great. I just picked up a T10 as my "carry everywhere" pocket camera. Now the new lineup is announced two days after my pruchase. What to do.. what to do...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
