That exact problem happened to me today. I had no problem unlocking a bunch of trophies today, but after beating hard I went back to get the steel fist and brutal expert trophies. I got the medals, but not the trophies.

When I checked the medal screen, there was credit for the medal but not trophy. On top of that, there was an icon along the left side of the scrolling portion of the screen that was a trophy with an "X" underneath it. Any thoughts?
