No you don't. The app's App Store description says you can buy a kindle book from your PC or iPhone using a web browser and wirelessly transfer it to Kindle for iPhone.
You are reading my words.
Engadget isn't an "apple news site."
@redstripe Sling is just an audio/video relay. That audio/video can originate on a PC as easily as on a TV. I've got my mac mini (running Plex) hooked up to mine, in addition to my cable box.
He (and, uh, everyone else) told you so: http://xkcd.com/488/
Maybe neither? The silly shoe insert is just an accelerometer. I assume this app won't need the nike+ hardware, since the iPhone has an accelerometer built in. And yeah, it could use the GPS if available for increased accuracy when actually in motion, but it'd probably drain the heck out of your battery.

Personally, I’m curious about the music playback and status voiceover portion of the app. The original nike+ iPod app would interface with the music on the device, but iPhone apps are sandboxed and there’s no API to talk to the iPod app (to control playback, get a list of songs, etc.). I wonder if Apple’s given them special access, or if they’ve come up with another method on their own (like making you add a copy of the music you want to hear during a run outside of iTunes).

Ok, I'll bite.

Does your office keep moving, or do you wake up in a different place every day? :)
I emailed the author yesterday requesting the view-by-tag feature. Here's his reply:

"I've had a lot of requests for this feature, so it is very high on my list of priorities. I hope to add it within the next month or to, so do check back — I'll post release notes for updates on the website."
Thanks. I'm aware that different regions have different electrical standards. I was a little surprised that Apple didn't bother engineering a new adapter for all their markets. It couldn't be very hard, and they're usually good about consistency.
I'm with you. I'm sticking with my first-gen iPhone. If they'd bumped the storage and the camera quality I would have bitten, but the included upgrades just aren't compelling -- especially when the rate hike is factored in.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
