They just tweaked the level of detail for the DX10 video. It's retarded. ridestowe was right, it is vista propaganda, I didn't see anything that wasn't possible on DX 9. I'm XP right now, but my next OS is going to be LINUX. Vista? Screw that!

Yes, I am saying that she is only getting all this press because she is a woman talking about sex in games. Of course these issues are important to games and, being so, they have been discussed for deacades. I'm not talking about pornography. It's not new, and it's always controversial, but there have been plenty of instances in games where game designers have put sex into their games to make the experience more well rounded (Fable for example). All I'm saying is that her points of view and statements have been said for years by plenty of people with great game design credentials and they haven't received half the press. I feel that it is because she's a woman that she, above them, is taken seriously. And I still stand by my previous statement, her game as an example of her "insight" or even as an example of good game design, does not stand on it's own two feet.

Men have been talking about sex in video games for years. If she was a man she wouldn't get nearly as much press, and a college wouldn't let a "pervert" like that hold a professorship. Plus, "Playboy: The Mansion" sucked.

We should boycott Gamestop/EBgames/whatever else because they currently hold a monopoly on used games. I recently went searching for a used copy of Black and White, and I found that none of those franchise stores even had PC games. That leaves Best Buy and department stores. Their prices are also completely uncompetitive. 17.99 For a used Greatest Hits game? That's effed up. Not only that, but I went to 2 different stores (EB Games, and Gamestop) in the same mall and not only were the prices, and the price tags the same, but they even had the same graphics on their used game cases. Sorry for the rant, but I just thought I could vent here because it's not completely irrelevent.

Halo 2 isn't a real multiplayer game. If you sat any of these guys down in front of a keyboard and mouse they wouldn't have a clue what to do. They'd get their asses kicked on UT2004. And, yes I have played Halo 2 multiplayer, and yes I did kick their butts. Also, the Xbox controller is a piece of crap. Just my two cents.

What's this DMX interface on the diagram? I thought that DMX had seven electronically incompatible ports just like the rest of us. And if it's compatible with DMX then why isn't it compatible with other people too?
