Feb 11th 2008 11:21AM I have comcast here in Michigan...the number of HD channels available for the price is simply poor. On top of that...the fact that I need to upgrade to a completely different package in order to get the channels I already have in SD in HD and not just have to pay a HD box premium is just horrible. Furthermore...in their conversion of the SD analog channels to digital to transmit over HDMI made the SD channels unwatchable.

Apr 26th 2007 9:29AM So last week I decided that I was going to start randomly checking local stores to see if they have any Wiis in stock.
On my second stop, during lunch last Wednesday, I stopped by the local Kmart(which is not known for it's traffic of hi-tech gadget seekers) which had the Wii in their weekly ad. I head back to the electronics...go to the cabinet, and there it was...a sold out sign. So I started walking out and the electronics guy at the counter said, "You looking for a Wii???" I said, "Yeah...thought I'd take a chance." He replied, "Well...your chance paid off, I got one in the back." I of course replied with a surprised, "Sweet!"
So there you have it...pure luck. One day I checked at Meijer...no dice...the next day I checked at Kmart, and I scored.
