I believe that the only reason that people buy tickets before getting to the theater is so that they don't have to stand in line or they do not want the show to be sold out (or, in case of Mr & Mrs Geek, to impress your geekier half) ... For this thing to truelly catch on, I think that Holywood needs to stop putting out such crappy movies ...

If only that much computing power was given to the pharmaceutical / medical researchers instead of the military ... (or maybe the console gaming industry instead ...)
Am I the only one who thinks that the video game industry is in a sad state if they are using nostalgic values to promote new consoles? I mean, I LOVE the classic NES/SNES and especially N64 games and consoles. However, making me *pretend* that I am back in college, skipping class and playing 4 player Bond for N64 will not make me want to buy the revolution ... (the novelty will run out quite quickly) ...
