The one thing I love about the Android market is its speed. A bunch of us Droid owners were wishing for a flash light app that used the camera's flash on a forum. Within two weeks, a member of that forum created one and submitted it to the market place. He has since released 4-5 updates with more functionality.... All for free.

Try that on Apple's marketplace :D
Me love Engadget long time,,,
@Light Speed = The Droid is a better phone because it comes with a pre-built app to detect tools (actually... it is just a Word doc that says "Light Speed", but it is 100 percent accurate).
My New Every 2 discount prevents me for going any where but a VZ store :(
I don't know... Verizon consumer base is very loyal to Verizon because of the quality of service - I am one. Unfortunately, we all complain about the quality of phones and have been starving for a real phone. This is the first legit geek-chiq phone that Verizon is ahead of the curve on. I bet there are a lot of VZ customers that are going to grab this phone ASAP...

I mean... Look how well the Storm sold on VZ and that phone was very poorly reviewed.
Do you guys know if BB will honor the $50 New Every Two rebates as well?
That is not what she said.... Sadly
That is not what she said.
Because it is included in any other phone? $30 dollars a piece is fair. Especially considering GPS companies are hosing iPhone users for $100 bucks instead.
No Google Navigation on this one. I believe this one is a 1.6 Android build not a 2.0.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
