I use the Canon CHDK SDM 3D thing, love it! Total investment was less than $500 (2 cameras, a mini USB switch connector and an aluminum frame). The sync between cameras is key for anything moving, and these pictures also tend to be better ones for 3D.
I enjoy the process of making the two pictures into one anaglyph, but it is time consuming and not super-simple. Here are a couple of more links for those interested in giving it a try:
My rig (in set of 3D anaglyphs): http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3597/3329206553_922d83551d.jpg

I think my rig will produce pictures as good as the Fuji, but as a 3D photographer, my hope lies with the 3D screen on the back... will they have photo frames with this capability? How big? How much?
Good luck Fuji!
Similar U2 video with those moving lights, from 1997:

U2 rips off Coldplay? Heh, good one.
Blue on the right eye, Red on the left. You didn't really check, did you?
Yay for Wilmington! And Yay for the surrounding counties which most certainly are rural. We ain't rubes!
Maybe he doesn't like 8 hour backups?
"What would you have us all do when our devices freeze up then? Take out the battery? No way that that is a sign of good technology.

There needs to be a reset button at the very least."

You shouldn't have to reset it often enough to require a button. I've had my Centro for 9 months, and have only had to reset it a few times. Taking the battery out is just as easy as sticking a paperclip into a recessed reset button like old Sony Clies. Would you want a reset button that was easy to hit (even by mistake)?

The sign of good technology is that it does not need a power off button besides the one for the phone.
Call me crazy, but I'm a happy Centro/Sprint customer.
It's the least expensive (yet reliable and sturdy) smartphone with the lowest data rates available.
I figure that on my 2 year contract, just counting the Centro and data plan (not phone service) will cost about $450. An iPhone plus data plan from AT+T would be about $1100. Granted, the iPhone has a killer display and other cutting edge features, but the Centro serves my needs....for less that half the price.
Bono does not suck. He's at least 5'7", taller than most of you "screw the Africans" complainers. Still, yeah, he's shorter than his persona (nobody is 10' tall).
If you're gonna say that Bono sucks, please tell us which celebrities, if any, that you admire. If you can name anybody cooler than Bono, I'd like to know who that is. And I'd like to make fun of your pick.
The breakthrough feature is "instant on", a feature we could have had months ago in a less cool device:
Instant-on Apple MacBook Air: $3000
Instant-on Palm Foleo: $499
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
