Shrek will be in line for one. I might be, too, if it's really the 6G iPod. After I get my iPhone, of course.
Lenses look nice. I already have the 12-24/4.0 DX, but that 14-24/2.8 is tempting. Also have an AF 24-85/2.8, so I can pass on the 24-70/2.8. What I'd really like, though, is Nikon's 18-200 VR. I've been hanging in there with a D100, with my eyes set on a D200. Just about ready to buy one, but now I've got a new prospect. Hope they keep it under $1,800 or so. The D3 looks very tasty, though I haven't had a pro body since my D1X was stolen. If the D300 specs are genuine, it'll suit my needs just fine.
Ben says: Cool, how about we give you $250,000 in a briefcase and then burn it in front of you while whispering in your ear "its just a briefcase, kid".

Except that there's a bit of a difference between 3,000 lbs traveling at 162 mph on a public highway and a room full of second hand smoke...
Steve says new storage allocations available "within a week". Just checked and my account already shows the new capacity. Good timing... recently I ran out of space and today I'm able to backup my data for the first time in weeks.
I've decided to go out on an adventurous limb and buy whatever they're selling tomorrow. You only live once (according to most sources).
I'm sooooo glad I currently live in a country where the iPhone is not - and won't be for some time - available. Otherwise, I think I'd be going crazy right now. Of course, in a few months it'll show up here on the black market. Dang.
It's "nudge, nudge, wink, wink..."
If you read the comments section in your original article, you would have learned the same thing...
Good catch, Jeff. Looks like someone just rasterized the same PDF you found and made a few changes. The January to June date change is sloppy. Even the paper's blemishes on the original scan are the same in the fake. In addition to identifying the file as a CS3 product, the image's metadata reveal that it was created on the afternoon of February 6, -5 hours GMT... somewhere on the east coast.
Apple didn't introduce the iPhone this week. They introduced the betaPhone -- to one billion beta testers.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
