I was waiting for these leaked pics of Capt. Pike. Star Trek is going to be awesome!
1] EXIF photo data support to properly orient pictures viewing:
I'll admit a little jealousy towards photo viewing on an iTouch/iPhone, with it's gyroscopic black magic.

2] optimize battery consumption during gaming more, if possible:

3] I can has more games please?
It's comments like this that make me hate all of you and myself for coming back each day heheh

Sept 16th. Never forget! 3.0
The Zune 80 is $249 [US]
Luckily mine did ship, but I was the last to know.
Microsoft/Zune Originals somehow forgot to email me a tracking number;
A Fed Ex 'Door Tag' didn't appear till the third attempt; then gave me hell when I tried to pick up.

Nevertheless..
I really enjoy the Zune; own both the 30 and the 80.
My girlfriend has a Creative Zen, but really wanted this red one after using mine for a bit.
Can't wait till she gets it.

The hardware itself, which does exactly what I need it to do and video looks so good on it, but it isn't the Zune's biggest sellpoint though.
Yes the 80 is ALOT slicker than the 30, but it's the 'All You Can Eat' music service that's the biggest draw for me. I get to find new music everyday, from missed gems of the past to up and coming hotness. You can't beat the size of the collection available for $15/month; every iPod ownder I work with pokes fun till I talk about the service.

Yeah they are DRM'd but the non-DRM'd collection is growing daily as well. And anything I really MUST own, I can now buy with confidence on CD if I want. Gone is the day of wasting cash on 'one track wonder' albums.

As for the Zune haters,
Why, you ask... because I can!
Be happy with whatever you got. Your time is too precious heheh.

I'd look forward to bumping some electro goodness through them, along with the usual life sountrack; kelly polar, klaxons, lcd soundsystem, coco rosie, the orb, ...
These would be great to replace the Zune Premiums that just fritzed out on me!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
