have you even looked at the output of a Sony HDV camera?-nothing comes close(for the cost)

Floppy disc,trinitron(emmy 1974),personal audio,PS1,PS2,
handycam,metal tape advancements,CD(with Philips)SACD(again with Philips),CD-R,RW,first HD broadcast,first live HD broadcast,robotics(aibo,QRIO) etc etc.
Rootkit?formats that did not succeed?-who cares,the successes outweigh any failures.
Without Sony CE/IT would not be what it is today.

Feb 28th 2006 12:24AM I have been lucky enough to be using a BD recorder for a year now,in conjunction with a SXRD projector-and let me assure you BD is truely beautiful to look at.
I only have access to 'content'from Sony Pictures(Stealth trailers,Bewitched,Spiderman 2 etc.)and not full length films,and the projector is WAAAYYY outside my income bracket,but once you see it in action BD will seduce,and forget about buying the DVD version if the BD title is available..DVD looks like VHS next to BD.

This camera will accept EVERY memory stick ever made by Sony(original purple,white-magicgate,black,red,navy blue,psp branded,pro etc etc..)with no loss of performance between variants.Yes,a (often free)adaptor may be needed if you choose a duo-but this is no problem.The M2 card is the next step towards smaller devices-that I as one will not bitch about.
The Sony bashing by uninformed teens on this site is getting really tedious-if you dont like sony dont buy the products-simple.Your hollow threats of a 'boycott'are always forgotten when something that might get you liked(or laid)by your ever diminishing group of friends-is launched by Sony.think about it.

I have been lucky enough to see BD in action and your 360 is gonna look mighty 'last gen' alongside what the PS3 (will)is capable of.
