LG makes multiple panels. Were you comparing LG monitor with a panel identical to Apple's?
Disappointing article. Doesn't even mention the LCD panel type.
I am frankly bummed about GV Mobile no longer working. As others have said, I realize I can jailbreak and download the latest version of GV Mobile to restore functionality. But doing so forces me to wait for jailbreak to catch up to the latest versions of iPhone OS. And that's just not my style. It is rather unfortunate that Apple have such loony policies when it comes to Google Voice apps.
I like the idea of Evernote and have used it since it public beta period. One thing the article didn't mention, and one that interests me the most, is whether the UI would be getting much needed update as well. Let's face it. Evernote, whether it be web app, iPhone, or Mac OS X desktop client, just plain stinks from both appearance and usability aspects.
It would be nice if I can see the results without voting. I don't have Mac mini so I would have to vote to see the results, which would misrepresent the results.
I had left expensive earphones in the laundry (inside a pair of jeans). It still worked though!
Somewhat off topic, but regarding iPhone sync, I wish it would sync over WiFi already. This feature exists in Apple TV, which syncs over WiFi or the ethernet.
At the very least, update the software so the user can read their notes (and don't delete notes along with the book).
This would be great for backup power. My iPhone runs out of power few times a month.
Other than faster CPU, updated software, they seem to be largely the same as the EX48x models that they replace. Which isn't bad considering the news ones are a bit cheaper while offering larger hard disk. Anyway, I wish HP would offer diskless configuration (while putting the OS and software on a NAND).

Better yet, I hope Apple will enter the home server market next year (Time Capsule doesnt' cut it for me).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
